Decorative resin floors attract attention because the design is built into the surface rather than placed on top of it. A penny floor, a logo treatment, or another embedded-object concept can be memorable, but it has to be planned as a complete floor system rather than as a collection of interesting objects.
Start with layout. Repetition, spacing, transitions at walls, and the treatment of drains or doorways all affect whether a large-area design looks intentional. Objects need to be stable before a clear material is introduced, and the edges need a plan. A small gap that is harmless in a tabletop project can become a practical issue across a room-sized surface.
Next, consider the environment. A floor has to support cleaning, movement, traffic, and the conditions specific to the space. Ask how the design will respond to routine maintenance, whether the surface needs a particular texture, and what repairs would involve if a portion is damaged. A clear finish may be beautiful, but the conversation should include visibility of dirt, lighting reflections, and long-term use.
